Abstract: 

Based-on the quasi-planar tetra-dentate Schiff-Base ligand, a pair of manganese (III) Schiff-Base enantiomers formulated as {[Mn (R, R-3-MeOSalcy) (H2O) (CH3OH)] ClO4} 2 (1) and {[Mn (S, S-3-MeOSalcy) (H2O) (CH3OH)] ClO4} 2 (2) (3-MeOSalcy=N, N′- (1, 2- cyclohexanediylethylene) bis (3-methoxysalicylideneiminato) dianion) have been synthesized and characterized by element analysis. Single X-ray structure analysis showed that the coordination sphere of the Mn (III) ion is an elongated octahedron with the four equatorial positions occupied by N2O2 unit from the Schiff-Base ligand and two O atoms of the coordinated solvent molecules completing the additional two axial sites. The mononuclear manganese (III) Schiff-Base compounds are self-complementary into a supramolecular dimer structure through the coordinated solvent ligand from one complex and the free O4 compartment from the neighboring complex. Investigation of the magnetic susceptibility of the manganese complexes reveals the overall weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the adjacent mental centers.

Abstract: 

DNA size markers are widely used to estimate the size of DNA samples on agarose or polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE). DNA markers can be prepared by mixing PCR products with definite sizes. Alternatively, they are prepared by restriction enzyme digestion of the genomic DNA of bacteriophages or natural and synthetic DNA plasmids. The present study describes engineering of a synthetic plasmid which produces a 100 bp DNA ladder, a popular DNA size marker, upon digestion with a single restriction enzyme. Our strategy consisted on sequential cloning of ten PCR products of 100 to 1000 bp in plasmid pTZ57R, using the BamHI and BglII restriction enzymes and releasing the fragments from the recombinant plasmid by enzyme EcoRV. This strategy could be applied to construct various complex synthetic vectors to produce different DNA ladders.

این دو قطعه یکی از قطعات بسیار حساس صنعت لوله سازی است. این قطعات در مجموع 200 تن وزن دارند و پس از تهیه قالب، عملیات های ریخته گری و حرارتی و ماشین کاری (از جنس چدن) که به دستگاه های خاص نیاز دارد، آماده بهره برداری می گردد. قطعه تکمیل کننده که باستر نام دارد با جک هایی که از روی آن تعبیه شده یک فشار در حدود 400000 تن بر ورق که مابین قطعه باستر و دو قطعه فوق قرار دارد وارد کرده ورق را به شکل u و O درآورده و به صورت عملیات تکمیلی به واحد دیگر منتقل می شود.

Abstract: 

Background: Uterine Leiomyoma (UL) is the most common gynecological tumor and a public health problem. Higher serum interleukin 4 (IL-4) level, as an anti-inflammatory cytokine that regulates TH1/TH2 cells balance, has been observed in the uterine cavity.Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the association between IL4 gene variable number of tandem repeats (VNTR) polymorphism and the risk of UL in southeast of Iran. Patients and Methods: We compared of 99 patients with UL with that of 102 healthy controls. The IL4 VNTR polymorphism was genotyped by gel electrophoresis after PCR amplification.Results: There was no significant association between RP*1/RP*2 and RP*2/RP*2 genotypes and UL; however, a significant association between RP*2/RP*2 genotype and UL was found after adjustment for age (OR, 4; 95% CI, 1.3-12.4; and P = 0.015). The frequency of RP*2 allele was significantly higher in women with UL (OR, 1.9; 95% CI, 1.1-3.5; and P = 0.03).Conclusions: The IL4 VNTR RP*2/RP*2 genotype could be an age-related risk factor for UL. Moreover, the frequency of RP*2 allele was significantly higher in women with UL.

Abstract: 

In this article, we consider pair frames in Banach spaces and introduce Banach pair frames. Some various concepts in the frame theory such as frames, Schauder frames, Banach frames and atomic decompositions are considered as special kinds of (Banach) pair frames. Some frame-like inequalities for (Banach) pair frames are presented. The elements that participant in the construction of (Banach) pair frames are characterized. It is shown that a Banach space X has a Banach pair frame with respect to a Banach scalar sequence space `, when it is precisely isomorphic to a complemented subspace of `. It is shown that if we are allowed to choose the scalar sequence space, pair frames and Banach pair frames with respect to the chosen scalar sequence space denote the same concept.

Abstract: 

In this study, using density functional theory, atoms in molecules and natural bonding orbital’s analyses, the strength of individual hydrogen bonds and the total interaction energy in the thymine-adenine (TA) Base pair containing deoxyribose(d) and phosphate(p) substituents, was evaluated. The results of the absolute electron energies show that the structures containing the substituents are more stable than the TA Base pair. In addition, according to the results of the hydrogen bonding energy, the binding of deoxyribose to adenine increase the total hydrogen bond strength more than binding this substituent to thymine. In all structures, deoxyribose binding increases N-H…N hydrogen bond strength and decreases N-H…O bond strength. While phosphate group modulates the additive effect of deoxyribose on hydrogen bond strength. It is interesting to note that the C-H. . . O bond is weaker than the other hydrogen bonds, but the mentioned substituents affect this hydrogen bond more than others. Also, the hydrogen bond of N-H. . . N is stronger than the other hydrogen bonds and the highest of the energy value of this bond belongs to the TA-d structure. It also has the highest total hydrogen bond energy. Moreover, four parameters were introduced as suitable descriptors for evaluating the hydrogen bonding of this system.

Abstract: 

Esthetic is a natural necessity among all human beings, and the reconstruction of the natural features of prosthesis is considered an important aspect in dentistry. Reconstruction of the natural features in removable prosthesis by characterization of denture Base is one of the most important factors. In this regard esthetic, in removable prostheses, is achieved through different techniques such as: tooth selection and arrangement, designing the denture Base and acrylic Base color. The final goal for all these effects is to achieve a natural appearance for denture. However, other factors such as treatment limitations, different personal needs and general health principles, should be taken into consideration. This article not only reviews the natural appearance of oral mucosa that is replaced by the denture Base, but also discusses about the materials used in tinting acrylic denture Base and their application techniques.
